Job Description:

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The employee may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

•Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers.

•Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods.

•Sort and stock packages based on shipping labels.

Compensation and Benefits:

•Starting hourly rate: 18.50$/h

•Unionized position with automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate of $36.53/hr. after 48 months of service)

Schedule:

•Must be available Monday to Friday from 3:00 AM - 8:30 AM

•Approximately 3-5 hours per day

•Overtime after 5 hours of work

Requirement:

•Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

•Ability to read and memorize postal codes

•Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week

•Ability to work in hot/cold temperatures while working in a warehouse environment and outdoors
