Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Technical Sales Specialist to support the growth of our Electrification and Power Quality business. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, identify opportunities, and promote solutions that deliver value across utility, industrial, commercial and infrastructure applications.

This position is ideal for an early to mid-career sales professional with a technical background who enjoys building relationships, learning innovative technologies, and contributing to business growth. You will collaborate with customers, channel partners, engineers, and internal stakeholders to develop opportunities and convert them into successful business outcomes.

How You'll Make an Impact

•Support the achievement of sales targets, order intake, and profitable growth within the assigned territory and customer base.

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, EPCs, and channel partners.

•Identify new business opportunities and support account development activities.

•Promote Hitachi Energy's portfolio of electrical, power quality, and energy solutions.

•Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

•Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and tendering teams.

•Support customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.

•Assist with bid and tender activities, including proposal preparation and follow-up.

•Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer records in CRM systems.

•Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

•Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

•Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy's safety, integrity, and sustainability standards.

Your Background

•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.

•Approximately 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, sales engineering, business development, or customer-facing engineering roles.

•Basic understanding of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, power quality, or related technologies.

•Strong interest in consultative and solution-based selling.

•Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

•Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.

•Willingness to travel as required.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
