Job Description:

As a Sushi Line Cook, you will help prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls to be sold in our store, as well as help customers with any made-to-order or special requests. You will work alongside experienced sushi chefs, learning traditional techniques and perfecting your craft in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

•Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice

•Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items to recipe and presentation standards

•Maintain a clean, organized kitchen while following food safety and sanitation guidelines

•Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation

Requirements:

•1 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a sushi or Japanese restaurant

•Basic knife skills and familiarity with sushi products

•Collective customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience working as a line cook

•Food preparation experience
