Job Description
Mission:
Lead and coordinate the commercial finance agenda for the assigned business or customer portfolio, ensuring disciplined planning, reliable performance visibility and timely business recommendations. The role connects Sales, Customer, Demand Planning, Supply, Category, Trade Marketing and Finance to strengthen forecast accuracy, manage risks and opportunities, and support profitable growth. It also coordinates the end-to-end follow-up of commercial and administrative processes, from order and investment visibility through delivery, invoicing and performance review, while driving standardisation, governance and continuous improvement of reports and analytical tools.
Key Activities:
· Coordinate the monthly and weekly commercial performance cycle for the assigned scope, consolidating actuals, latest estimate, forecast, risks and opportunities into a clear business narrative.
· Lead the preparation and quality review of dashboards covering sell-in, sell-out, inventory, NSV, GSV, CMA, customer profitability and other relevant performance indicators.
· Coordinate the monthly LE and forecast reconciliation with KAMs and KAEs, challenge assumptions and translate customer-level drivers into actionable recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.
· Provide financial business partnering to Sales and cross-functional teams, identifying performance gaps, trade-offs and value-creation opportunities by customer, channel, territory and portfolio.
· Ensure governance and timely follow-up of commercial administrative activities, including investment reservations, orders, 13-week outlook, credit notes, shortages, rejections and other commercial deductions.
· Consolidate, structure and analyse internal and external data, monitoring market trends, historical performance and customer dynamics to support timely commercial decisions and strategy adjustments.
· Coordinate weekly and monthly business-review materials, including Weekly and MPR forums, ensuring consistency of numbers, clear ownership of actions and follow-up of commitments.
· Lead cross-functional projects related to reporting, process optimisation, data standardisation, automation and commercial performance visibility.
· Establish controls and data-quality checks to ensure that reports and management information are accurate, traceable and aligned with approved sources.
· Coach and guide analysts or junior team members assigned to the process, prioritising workload, reviewing outputs and strengthening analytical capabilities, without necessarily having formal direct reports.
· Act as an escalation point for operational issues affecting invoicing, customer service or financial visibility, facilitating resolution across the relevant teams.
· Promote simplification and automation through Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other approved tools to reduce manual effort and improve decision speed.
Experience and education:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
· Typically 3-6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Sales Finance, Business Partnering, Revenue Growth Management, commercial analysis or a related area.
· Demonstrated experience in sales analysis, forecasting, performance management and customer or channel reporting.
· Experience coordinating cross-functional processes, challenging assumptions and presenting recommendations to business stakeholders.
· Experience in customer service or commercial operations is desirable. Consumer goods or retail exposure is preferred.
Knowledge and capabilities:
· Advanced Microsoft Excel, including large databases, pivot tables, complex formulas, charts and analytical modelling.
· Working knowledge of Power BI or similar business-intelligence tools; ability to translate data into decision-oriented dashboards.
· Understanding of P&L drivers, sales, volume, price, mix, trade investment, profitability, inventory and forecast concepts.
· Ability to build clear executive narratives from complex data and communicate implications, recommendations and required actions.
· Business English is desirable for collaboration and presentation in regional or global environments.
Behavioural competencies:
· Business partnering and commercial acumen
· Leadership without authority and stakeholder management
· Analytical thinking and constructive challenge
· Ownership, prioritisation and execution discipline
· Clear communication and executive presence
· Collaboration, coaching and capability building
· Continuous improvement, simplification and learning agility
