Record a set of short videos at home with your iPhone and TV, and get $70.

One-time task. $70 for one approved task, done once. About 1 to 1.5 hours, plus upload time on Wi-Fi.

Help train AI for smart TVs. You'll film a short video of your face, then a series of short videos in your living room while a set clip plays on your TV. Step-by-step instructions on YouTube show you exactly what to do, and you upload everything through the Mindrift app.

What this opportunity involves

We're looking for US-based participants to record a short set of videos at home for a smart TV AI project. There is no prior experience required: you follow the video instructions and record with your own iPhone. On this project, participants will:

•Record a short video of their face;

•Record a series of short videos in their living room while a set clip plays on the TV, following the step-by-step YouTube instructions (sitting on the couch, moving in front of the TV, using a few everyday items);

•Set up the phone on a tripod or phone holder and keep the whole setup within about 10 ft of the TV;

•Upload all recordings through the Mindrift app over Wi-Fi.

It's a one-time task: once your recordings are approved, you're done and you get paid.

What we look for

This opportunity is a good fit for anyone in the US with a recent iPhone Pro and a living room with a TV who is looking for a quick, paid, one-time task. You will need:

•To be 18+, living in the US, and speak English or Spanish;

•An iPhone 14 Pro or newer Pro / Pro Max model with 256 GB or more and at least 70 GB free. Other phones can't record this task;

•A living room with a TV, a couch with 3+ seats facing it, and about 10 ft of open space. You need to be alone in the room while recording;

•A tripod or phone holder, a chair, glasses, a baseball cap and a blanket;

•A Wi-Fi connection for the upload.

This opportunity is not open to residents of Illinois, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Washington or Maryland.

Technical skills

•iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, 16 Pro, 17 Pro or newer, or the Pro Max version of any of these

•256 GB storage or more (128 GB won't work), with at least 70 GB free space

•Ability to install and use the Mindrift app on the phone

•Wi-Fi connection for uploading large video files

Additional requirements

•A living room with a TV and a couch with 3+ seats facing it

•About 10 ft of open space in front of the TV

•Alone in the room while recording

•A tripod or phone holder, a chair, glasses, a baseball cap and a blanket

•Must be able to appear on camera: the recordings include your face and are used as project deliverables (consent is collected during onboarding)

•Location: United States only, excluding Illinois, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Maryland

•Availability: a one-time task of about 1 to 1.5 hours, plus upload time; you choose when to record
