Job Description:

At Johnson & Johnson, we believe health is everything. Through our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we work to deliver healthcare innovations that can profoundly impact health for humanity. Our European Distribution Center in La Louvière (DC LAL) plays an important role in the J&J supply chain. The site supports the distribution of Innovative Medicine products through direct, replenishment and affiliate shipments, as well as Value Added Services.

The site operates in an environment where digitalization, technology and operational excellence are key areas of focus.

We are looking for a motivated Bachelor's or Master's student who is eager to gain practical experience within an international supply-chain environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

Your internship will be structured around two main pillars:

1. Digitalization & Data Analytics

You will help us turn operational data into useful insights and identify opportunities to further digitalize our processes.

Depending on the projects and your interests, activities may include:

•Collecting, structuring and analyzing operational data
•Developing or improving dashboards and performance indicators
•Identifying opportunities to automate or digitalize existing processes
•Translating operational needs into practical data solutions
•Supporting data-driven decision making within the DC
•Exploring tools and approaches that can improve visibility and efficiency

This directly supports DC LAL's ambition to use data analytics and digital solutions to enable timely, data-driven insights and increase efficiency, agility and resilience.

2. Operational Excellence

Alongside the digital component, you will work directly with our operational teams to understand how a distribution center functions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Potential activities include:

•Analyzing existing operational processes and workflows
•Identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks or improvement opportunities
•Supporting continuous-improvement initiatives
•Helping define or monitor operational KPIs
•Participating in process standardization and optimization
•Supporting projects from analysis through implementation and follow-up

Operational Excellence is a strategic focus for DC LAL, including lean maturity, process confirmation, project governance and creating a performance-driven culture.

We are looking for a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in areas such as:

•Supply Chain Management
•Business Engineering / Management Engineering
•Data Analytics / Data Science
•Business Management
•Logistics

You are someone who:

•Has an analytical mindset and enjoys solving problems
•Is curious about how operational processes work
•Has an interest in data, digitalization and continuous improvement
•Can work independently while collaborating with different stakeholders
•Is proactive, structured and willing to take initiative
•Is comfortable working with data and interested in visualization/dashboarding tools

What can you expect?

This internship is an opportunity to work on real operational challenges within a J&J European distribution environment.

You will have the opportunity to:

•Apply your academic knowledge in a real supply-chain setting
•Develop practical skills in data analytics and dashboarding
•Learn about Operational Excellence and continuous improvement
•Work with experienced professionals across operations, projects and supporting functions
•See how digital solutions can translate into tangible operational improvements
•Contribute to projects with a direct connection to the day-to-day operation of DC La Louvière

Please note:

•You must remain enrolled as a student throughout the internship. Graduates who are no longer enrolled are unfortunately not eligible for this internship.
•The internship can only start if your school agrees to sign the standardized Johnson & Johnson Belgium internship agreement. External agreements cannot be accepted.

Launch your career with us and help shape the future of healthcare. We look forward to receiving your application!
