Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.

Mondelēz International empowers people to snack right in over 150 countries around the world. We’re leading the future of snacking with iconic global and local brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Pascall, The Natural Confectionery Company, belVita, Ritz and Toblerone with global revenues exceeding $31 billion USD.

Based at our Suttontown manufacturing facility, the HSE Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the HSE team, ensuring the effective management of health, safety, and environmental systems across the site. We’re looking for someone who is people-oriented , energetic , and genuinely safety-motivated — a person who brings positive energy to the team and is passionate about keeping people safe.

How you will contribute

You will:

•Maintain, digitalise, and organise HSE registers, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
•Support site HSE standards by managing compliance evidence, risk assessments, and legal/licence tracking
•Drive HSE communication, safety campaigns, and engagement initiatives across the site — bringing energy and creativity to keep safety front of mind
•Manage training matrices, records, and scheduling to meet compliance requirements
•Monitor and follow up on open HSE actions, report progress, and support weekly/monthly data reporting and environmental submissions
•Coordinate and schedule site inspections, health checks, and Gemba walks
•Support HSE procurement, budget tracking, and purchase request documentation
•Track and manage workers compensation claims, documentation, and insurer communication
•Build strong working relationships across the site, acting as a trusted point of contact for HSE queries and support

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who brings three key behavioural attributes:

People-oriented — You build genuine relationships across all levels of the site. You’re approachable, collaborative, and energised by helping others understand and embrace safe work practices.

Energetic — You bring a positive, can-do attitude to the workplace. You’re proactive, thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and bring momentum to safety campaigns, training, and engagement activities.

Safety-motivated — Safety isn’t just part of your job — it’s part of who you are. You’re passionate about driving a zero-incident culture and take pride in making a real difference to people’s wellbeing at work.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

Essential:

•Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
•Previous experience in an HSE administrative or coordination role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
•Knowledge of South Australian WHS legislation and relevant codes of practice
•Familiarity with workers compensation processes and return-to-work coordination
•Experience with HSE management systems and action-tracking tools
•Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•Effective written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
•Experience supporting safety initiatives, improvement projects, and employee-engagement activities

Desirable:

•Certificate IV in Return-to-Work Coordination (or equivalent)
•Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
•Formal training in incident investigation, risk management, or HSE systems
