About Caterpillar Financial Products Division (FPD):

We help our customers, dealers and Caterpillar succeed through financial services solutions. We are the financial arm of Caterpillar Inc. headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with offices and subsidiaries located throughout North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe.

You will be responsible for:

•Manage a portfolio of legal and enforcement cases, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.

•Support hard collection, legal recovery, enforcement, and repossession activities.

•Cooperate with Customer Service, Legal, external counsels, collection agencies, bailiffs, and other relevant parties.

•Prepare and maintain documentation required for legal proceedings, enforcement, and asset recovery.

•Monitor case progress, deadlines, and outstanding actions, and provide regular status updates.

•Support continuous improvement of Hard Collection and legal recovery processes.

Requirements:

•Minimum 2 years of experience in debt collection, hard collection, legal recovery, or a similar role (banking, leasing, or financial services sector would be an asset).

•Practical experience in handling collection cases, including cooperation with external law firms, collection agencies, bailiffs, or similar external partners (legal education or background would be an asset)

•Fluent Romanian and English language.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cooperate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

•Strong case management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, documentation, and follow-up actions simultaneously.

•Ability to work independently, proactively, and with attention to detail.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Additional Information:

This role is located in Bucharest, Romania. This is a temporary position with 1 year employment contract with an option for further extension.

Base Minimum Pay:

lei120,603.00

Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
