Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Summer Intern to join our development tools team in Trondheim during the period of June 1st to Aug 31

What You Will Do

As a summer intern, you will participate in the development of the MPLAB for VS Code ecosystem, with responsibilities that may include:

•Design, implement, and test new features for our VS Code extensions.

•Develop functionality using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern development frameworks.

•Improve the usability and developer experience of our tools.

•Investigate and resolve software defects.

•Develop automated tests and contribute to software quality improvements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.

•Good programming skills in at least one modern programming language.

•Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Interest in learning new technologies and development tools.
