Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Contracts Engineer to develop new business opportunities and grow our HVAC/ACMV service-contract portfolio.

The role is suitable for an entry-level candidate who is interested in technical sales, business development and customer relationship management. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, Service Operations and Engineering teams to identify customers, develop proposals and secure new service contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

2. Service Contract Sales

3. Customer Management

4. Sales Administration (Via CRM Systems)

5. Market Development

Requirements

Education

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC/ACMV, Business or a related discipline.

•Candidates from other technical disciplines with strong interest in sales may also be considered.

Experience

•2–3 years of sales, engineering, business development or customer-facing experience.

•Experience in HVAC/ACMV, facilities management, building services or engineering sales is an advantage.

Skills

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•Comfortable making cold calls and approaching new customers.

•Good presentation and negotiation skills.

•Commercially minded and target-oriented.

•Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.

•Good written and spoken English.

•Able to use Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
