Job description

About Zed

Zed is building the first AI-native, licensed neobank in the Philippines designed to democratize access to premium financial services for young professionals in global markets. The current banking system is broken, often shutting out the world’s youngest and fastest-growing consumer classes—we’re here to fix it.

Our team is uniquely positioned to solve this. We are Stanford engineers and former YC founders who have spent our careers at the intersection of banking and hyper-growth startups like Square, Facebook, and Box. We’ve been here before, having previously built and exited Symple (YC W'17), a fast-growing B2B payments company.

We are backed by world-class investors, including Accel, Valar, Immad Akhund (Mercury), Dalton Caldwell (Y Combinator), and Kunal Shah (Cred).

THE ROLE

Receiving a Zed card is an important moment in a customer’s experience. As our Card Fulfillment Associate, you’ll help make sure cards reach the right people on time—and that customers get clear updates when something goes wrong.

You’ll coordinate daily card production with our printing partner, track deliveries, follow up with couriers, respond to cardholders, and keep delivery records and vendor billing accurate. Much of the work involves daily tracking, careful recordkeeping, and persistent follow-through.

This is an entry-level role for someone with some hands-on delivery, logistics, or fulfillment experience. We’ll train you on card operations, our systems, and our vendor processes. You’ll gain practical experience across customer support, vendor coordination, and the daily operations behind a financial product.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

•Coordinate card production: Submit daily card production requests to our printing partner and maintain accurate records from printing through delivery.
•Track deliveries and resolve issues: Monitor shipments, follow up on delays and failed delivery attempts, and coordinate next steps for returned or lost cards, including redelivery where appropriate.
•Keep cardholders informed: Respond to delivery and card-status questions, confirm details needed to resolve issues, and provide clear updates through resolution.
•Escalate concerns appropriately: Flag suspicious delivery issues to the Senior Fraud & KYC Analyst and route disputes, declined transactions, and other concerns to the right team.
•Maintain records and check billing: Reconcile card statuses at month-end and check vendor invoices against fulfillment records.
•Monitor courier performance: Prepare monthly delivery reports, raise service issues with couriers, and highlight recurring problems to the team.
•Keep processes up to date: Maintain fulfillment instructions and customer response templates, and suggest practical improvements based on delivery trends and cardholder feedback.

WHAT YOU BRING

This role is designed for someone early in their career, typically with up to two years of relevant experience.

•Bachelor’s degree in any field, with a strong academic background
•Hands-on experience with delivery, logistics, or fulfillment tasks such as tracking shipments, coordinating with couriers, or processing orders.
•Clear written and spoken English and Filipino, including the ability to give customers helpful updates and follow up professionally with vendors.
•Comfortable learning new tools, including AI tools, to support day-to-day work and improve how tasks get done.
•Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets to maintain trackers, filter information, and identify missing or inconsistent records.
•Careful attention to names, addresses, numbers, and delivery statuses.
•Strong organization and follow-through: you keep track of open issues and follow up until they’re resolved.
•Good judgment about when to ask for help or escalate a concern.
•Care in handling confidential customer and card information.

Helpful, but Not Required

•Experience responding to customer inquiries or support tickets.
•Experience in card operations, banking, fintech, e-commerce, or a courier company.
•Familiarity with courier tracking portals, fulfillment systems, or customer support tools.
•Experience checking vendor invoices, preparing reports, or using spreadsheet lookups and pivot tables.
•Experience documenting processes or writing step-by-step instructions.

We hire exceptional people from diverse backgrounds because different perspectives build better products.

If you’re excited about this role but don’t check every box, apply anyway. We value potential, ownership, and alignment with our values more than perfect résumés.

We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on legally protected characteristics. We provide reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.

Compensation includes salary, equity, and benefits. Final offers are based on role scope, location, and experience.
