We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support our accounting team with day-to-day financial transactions and ensure our records stay accurate and organized. You'll play a key role in processing invoices, supporting reconciliations, and maintaining smooth, reliable accounts payable operations. You'll be joining a collaborative finance team where your attention to detail and reliability will directly support the accuracy of our financial records.

What you'll be doing:

•Perform basic accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and simple reconciliations
•Assist with routine financial transactions and documentation following established procedures and accounting guidelines
•Support month-end processes by preparing basic reports and maintaining organized financial records
•Process accounts payable transactions including invoice entry and payment preparation
•Support accounts payable reconciliation tasks and maintain organized vendor files and payment records
•Verify invoice accuracy and match purchase orders to receipts using standard verification procedures
•Assist with monthly vendor statement reconciliations and prepare basic accounts payable reports
•Escalate complex payment issues, vendor disputes, and approval questions to supervisor while maintaining accurate transaction documentation

What you'll need to be successful:  

Must haves:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•1–2 years of accounting experience.
•Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

•Experience with Great Plains of Microsoft.
